My son sees a man in his room at night?

So recently my son 3.5 year old son has had a difficult time sleeping in his room due to his fear that a man comes into his window at night. My son say’s his name is Peter Pan, that he looks like Peter Pan from the cartoon, however, he states that he will touch his leg in a way that makes my son uncomfortable and will tell my son mean things like “I’m not your friend.” It’s a little creepy, however, there doesn’t appear to be any physical proof that this is actually happening.

My search for help has been extremely frustrating. I’ve been trying to talk to people and search the internet for child development info and how to handle things like the boogey man or imaginary friends and honestly what I’ve got is a lot of paranormal feedback which I find to be irrelevant. My feelings on things, like the after life, are what they are but I don’t believe for a second that ghost lives in my sons room and torments him at night. I feel our house is very safe and have never for a minute felt like we where a haunted home. Never the less it seems like the only advice I’ve received is about how children are sensitive to the paranormal, how children can see things that we can’t, and how to talk to my son about his ESP and ability to talk to ghosts. I don’t find this useful and believe that do this would only further push the idea, in not only my sons but my daughters head, that his room and our home are not safe.
