In most cases, if you DIY your own nails with nail polish, you always end up with half bottle of nail polish. As the times gone by, you will find that your favorite polish has morphed into a coagulated mess. So how to save a nail polish when it get thick or has morphed into a coagulated mess?
Below are some tips or methods for you to battle with thick nail polish.

1) Do gentle mixing. If your nail polish was thickened slightly, please gentle turn the bottle upside down to redistribute the color and hold the bottle between your palms to warm it up for a few minutes. The heat from your body will thin it out. Please kindly note that you can not shake the nail polish vigorously, or it will remain trapped in the polish and lead to prematurely thick polish.

2) Use nail polish remover. It is know that nail polish remover will thin your thick nail polish temporarily. If you are in emergency, you could add a few drops of nail polish remover in to the thick nail polish in a bottle.

3)Use nail polish thinner. Add one drop of nail polish thinner at a time to the bottle of nail polish. Shake the bottle gentally and test the consistency on your nail. Continue to add one drop of thinner, testing after each drop, until you reach the desired consistency. Do not add too much thinner—as with using polish remover, you cannot re-thicken thinned out polish.
