I just got a bit of vinegar into my eyes. It cause much discomfort in my eyes.What should I do to get rid of this uncomfortable feeling? My eyes will be hurt?

As I know, the acids just only damage the front of the eyes. But it cause serious damage to the cornea and also may result in blindness. The cornea is the transparent tissue which covers the front of the eyes and it helps the lens of the eyes to focus thinks on the retina. So if you suddenly get vinegar into your eyes. Firstly, you need to get these acids out of the eyes. The most convenient and common way is to rinse your eyes with cleanest water constantly in 15 mins. The clean water will dilute the concentration of vinegar. Secondly, please call your doctor for medical assistance.

The acetic acid  contained in the vinegar will cause the uncomfortable eyes. If you get vinegar in your eyes, you need to rinse your eyes with a steady stream of clean water for at least 30 mins. If this can not help with your uncomfortable eyes, please go and ask for help from your doctor immediately.

I had a same experience with you before. I felt so terrible at that time. You need to get it rinsed with clean water. However, after rinsing it, if you still have burning, painful or light sensitive eyes, you might have corneal abrasion. Please do to ask for help from your doctor. They will give you antibiotic eye ointment/or tear gel and patch for 1 day. This will reduce inflammation and improve comfort. Hope these helpful.

Hi dear, please do not worry. The vinegar will not cause damage on your eyes.  However, it will cause uncomfortable feelings. The acetic acid in the vinegar is the main reason. However, it is a kind of cooking flavor. So if you suddenly get it into your eyes. Firstly, please do not worry about it. Secondly, please do some things immediately, such like rinse your eyes with clean water. Please do it repeated until you feel better. Please do not use any cloth to touch your eyes. In the mean time, please ask help from doctor.
