Can I still get my transcript from high school if I took a gap year?

0 votes
I graduated in June of 2016 and I am not currently getting registered for school. I took a year off to work and save up a little money. I was just asking a question to see if I would still have access to my transcript or did I mess up with taking a gap year?

No, you did NOT mess u[p. Yes, you still can have your high school transcripts sent directly BY YOUR HIGH SCHOOL to any colleges you you want to apply to admission intoa degree program or a licensing or certification program. Colleges and schools WILL NOT accept transcripts that YOU send to them, Yes, you CAN get your own transcript sent to you.

IF your high school has webpage, you probably can make transcript request online, or you can call the front office during business hours and ask to to talk to the registrar, or you can email your high school.

You DID NOT mess up by taking a gap year.

If you went to public school that closed, get into contact with the public school distract.

No, you definitely still have access to it. Most transcripts are all digitally ordered nowadays. Just go to your high school's website and they'll probably have an "order transcript" link somewhere and you can follow that. If they don't do it online for some reason, call the high school and tell them your name and graduation year and see if they still have it there or if you'll have to contact the district office. I took two and a half years off school and I had no problem getting mine!
