How can I stop the right temple of my glasses from hurting my ear?
Hi, I am a 15 year old boy, who got his glasses fixed yesterday. On Friday, I accidentally squashed my glasses and broke off the right temple. Yesterday, the optician told me that they would replace the frame for free, so I would have the same lenses with a new, identical frame.
The new frame is just like the old one except for one thing; the end of the temple (the curvy bit that slots over the ear) is hurting my the top of my right ear and putting pressure on it, and causing it to slightly hurt. When I take the glasses off, the pain worsens for a few minutes, as the pressure is relieved, and when I put them back on, I feel the pressure of the glasses again on my right ear. What, if anything, can I do about this? Is there something I can do myself, or will I have to go back to the opticians and tell them about the problem? Thank you.
