A scientist at Northumbria University says that we're headed for another mini ice age similar to the Maunder Minimum. Is this true?

Sunspot activity has been predicted using her model (a model which has 97 percent accuracy) to decline over the next 15-30 years to a point not seen since the 1700s when "Frost Fairs" were held on The River Thames when it froze solid in winter.

Will global CO2 emissions offset any or most of this cooling from reduced sunspot activity?
