I'll wear them when I'm on the computer or on the phone but take them off when I'm not on screens. Is this affecting my eyes in any way?

I do just that, BY DOCTORS ORDERS.

I had eye disease, specifically cataracts. The doctor removed my natural lenses and replaced them with artificial lenses. But because my lenses are man-made, they are fixed focus.

I work with computer at my 40-hour-week job. The doctor gave me a choice -- get close up lenses for computer work, and wear glasses to drive, or get lenses to drive, and wear glasses for computer work.

I chose the later, I wear glasses 8-9 hours a day, then take them off to drive, go to movies, or watch TV.

Perfectly normal and PERFECTLY safe.
