Should my husband and I have a casual, semi-formal or formal wedding?

My husband and I are finally going to have our wedding, after nearly 20 years of marriage. We're trying to decide if it should be casual, semi-formal or formal. It will be a small event consisting of just immediate family--and our kids. We just can't decide. What do you think? Please no negative responses. Thanks.

It depends on people's financial situation and whether or not they already have formal clothing. I could not have a formal wedding as nobody in my family owns any formal clothing and it would be too expensive for them to have to buy a long dress, rent a tuxedo, etc. You could do semi formal and just have women wear a dress and men wear a suit or at least a jacket
And it depends where you have it. If it's at a nice restaurant or hotel, then it's nice for people to get dressed up. If it's a beach ceremony then people can be casual
