Since you are a senior, the answer is no. If you were a freshman, it would be yes. The reason is that if you have been taking 4 courses/semester since freshman year, your current GPA of 2.5 is an average of your grades for 24 classes. You are just adding 4, so it won't add much to your overall GPA any more. If you were to get all A's this semester, you could get a 2.8. If you were to get two A's and two B's, it would be a 2.7. That is better than a 2.5, but it can't be a 3.0.
