Can't connect to WIFI after downgrading from Win 10?

So I just purchased an HP ENVY 750-197c desktop computer and the first thing I did when setting it up was downgrade the Windows 10 to Windows 8, which worked great. However, now I am not able to detect any connections/connect to WIFI on the computer. I'm guessing it's because I need to update and/or obtain the correct drivers. However, I cannot figure out which ones I need. When I look at the download center here on the site and go to this computer model's driver list, there is no option to select drivers for Windows 8. Instead, there's only options for Windows 7 and Windows 10. How am I supposed to download the correct drivers I need? Which ones?

Windows 7 or Windows 10 network drivers will work fine on Windows 8/8.1

Be aware that Microsoft is forcing hardware vendors to only support Windows 10 for new hardware. The hardware vendors can do nothing but comply as Microsoft controls which drivers are allowed to load.

Also, downgrading to Windows 8 is a foolish move. Windows 8.1 at the very least would have been less foolish. Windows 10 is a good operating system, and I'm a Linux guy saying that.
