Do you still drink in bars/clubs?

People seem to be going less to bars and drinking at home now. You can save yourself a lot of money.
Update: I don't go much as I used to. If going out to a bar there has to be something you can't get at home - like a live band. A meal in a bar with a beer garden on a sunny summer day is nice too.
But it's so much cheaper to get drinks in from the local shop - and invite round a few friends.

I used to go out sometimes three or four nights a week to our local rock bars. Saw some great up and coming bands and big bands on their way back down. Over the years that was getting pretty expensive, especially the difference between drinking in the city vs. the suburbs. For the $8 per beer in the city I spend the same amount on a pitcher in the burbs. And it's closer to home so the chance of a DUI are phenomenally lower.

These days I'm lucky if I make it to our local dive bar once a week for a shot and a beer or two with friends. Besides, I don't have room at home for a pool table.
