First, it's useless looking at pictures other people have gotten using the same camera and lens. Photo quality depends on the skill of the photographer. There is no guarantee you'll get the same shots given the same equipment.
Next, the 760D, 750D and the one they replaced, the 700D are low-end while the 70D, although older is mid-level. Unless you know exactly what you are doing with a dSLR, you won't notice the difference because it's the shooting experience that differs. It all goes down to how you make use of the camera that makes the more expensive ones fare better if that makes sense at all so to me no, the 760D is not better than the 70D.
