Can my walkman be fixed?

0 votes
I have a cassette walkman and it appears the battery case became corroded. It still makes noise but my tapes won't play at all anymore. I'm not sure if it's really rewinding or not.

Is it just trash now? .-.
Update: Lmao I'm 16

Pop out the batteries and wipe the contacts of the battery compartment with lemon juice or an eraser. Seriously though, I can't even locate a decent deck to archive my tapes. Why are you actively using a Walkman this day and age? It's a piece of throwaway consumer gear which is 99% not being manufactured anymore.
